not a nice sunrise view

came back..tried and shag from east coast park overnight..with my ex and her 2 frenz which follow up 4 tomboyish frenz..they have the presence of a typical guy..veri scary…went there,play game, watch movie on my laptop, see stars and talk rubbish all the way…i able to notice 4 meteor stars while watching the sky for around 30 mins…out of 4..i make only 1 wish…is to have alot alot of money..i wonder will it come true? maybe later buy 4d let me tio the main prize..or next month toto…omg!! but how lucky i can be..i wont know…meteor star is just comet that past thru earth atmosphere which create flaming trail behind it…so it form a meteor star….(sunny , pls correct me if im wrong)…
wait wait and wait..and finally when it is around 6.30am…we noticed the sky turned a little blue and cloud dispersed…but no sign of sun, i found out that the sun din reali come out from the east? maybe im wrong..i will go cfm again..maybe not eastcoast but pasir ris park…but probably the next time i able to view a clear sunrise…is at….TEKONG!!!
not a reali wonderful day…especially when i dont reali chat with her 2 other frenz…hard to find a topic…and my ex chatting on phone with some anoynomous…okok tired…i get to slp..see ya soon

Theorically you’re right, but the terms used are not very appropriate. And I try to rephrase them with what I know — that means I could be wrong too! haha.
Usually the case is comet orbiting the sun, forming a trailing line of melting ice and dust. The dust fall to Earth, creating the shooting stars (meteors) effect when they burn up in the atmosphere.
The effect you saw is most probably meteors as comets have (almost always) fixed timing to pass by Earth (eg. Halley Comet every 76years, and the Leonid every 30 or something?)
And it’s possible to see meteors (albeit being not as magnificient) everyday, even in the day, but as the night is ‘darker’ so we only see it at night. The universe is so full of dirt that come crashing into Earth every second.
Cool, now I can write a thesis and be a specialist in Astronomy already.

lolx..i agree..u can write a thesis…but i know yesterday night..i saw at least quite a few..my frenz saw too…its kinda amazing..so i need to check out what so special about yesterday in astronomy…i dun usually saw that much meteor each day
